Mission

First czech technological nanosatellite.

VZLUSAT-1 is a 2U CubeSat type technological nanosatellite for the in-orbit demonstration of new technologies and products. Mission is a joint project of the research institute (VZLU), commercial partners (5M, IST, HVM, RITE, TTS) and technical universities (CTU, UWB) of the Czech Republic. It is partly financed by commercial partners and by government support.

VZLUSAT-1 will be launched from India on June 23, 2017 on the Low Earth Orbit with the altitude 500km in the international mission QB50 together with other 50 same size nanosatellites.
