Testing

Testing is an integral part of the development of cosmic instruments and satellites.

Testing is performed to verify the functions of individual devices and equipment. Calibration of individual sensors or devices is also carried out together with testing. The individual electronic boards were subsequently tested and the mutual cooperation and functionality with the onboard computer was verified. In addition, the boards were integrated into the satellite platform subsystem (EPS, OBC, Radio). This subsystem was independently tested and a ground station communication test was carried out. Subsequently, the entire satellite was built. However, the interrelationships of individual instruments are complex and many functional difficulties or errors occur. These must be revealed and removed. Since the first VZLUSAT-1 nanosatellite flight model has been set up until the start of the pre-flight preparation, the test campaign took 5 months.
