Environmetal tests
The pre-flight preparation for space instruments and satellites is a separate area.
It includes a number of tests to verify the resistance of the satellite at high vibrations during the start-up, and at the same time it must verify the functionality in space environment in the orbit. The entire test campaign includes individual examinations according to the test procedure.
Pre-flight tests consist of the following:
- Physical performance,
- Vibration tests,
- Shock tests,
- Thermo-vacuum tests.
For VZLUSAT-1 tests were performed according to this test procedure. All tests for the PFM flight model took 2 months.
